If you didn't already know, I have been friends with the lovely owner of Lime Crime makeup for quite some time now. Doe Deere is one of the reasons that I started sassyNpunk. She gave me the drive and motivation to do so. She has always been a good friend and mentor to me, and I look forward to many years of friendship and success for both of us.

Hi Leyla. Thanks for the question. I think it’s very important to give back. I love animals, so most of the charities I’ve supported, privately and with Lime Crime, have been rescue groups & shelters. My personal favorite, to which I donate consistently, is www.bideawee.com – they are the oldest no-kill shelter in the US. You can read about our charity work with them here.
I am always on the look-out for good causes to donate funds as well as time to. One thing I’m really interested in is speaking to young women about starting their own business and entrepreneurship. I feel that it’s something that isn’t widely available at the moment but could benefit women greatly. ASK DOE DEERE"
